Another year gone, and another entry spent looking back at the ups, downs, and general mayhem of cosplay antics from the last 12 months. I somehow managed to do a lot in 2011, and yet at the same time, not a lot at all.
This is going to be rather long, and heavy on the videos and photos, so I’ll save your dashboards:
It’s Official — I’ll be attending Anime Los Angeles for the first time this Januaray!
I booked my flights, and got the time off work… now it’s down to the crunch time! If everything goes off without a hitch, these are the costumes I’ll be bringing!
School Homura and School Mytho are all finished, and Magical-Girl Homura has my top Priority. Maka is about 3/4 done, so she should be happening too! I jsut have to really bust my ass!
I’m really looking forward to attending a new convention, and getting a chance to spend more time with some of my CA friends, and those I only manage to see in passing at Fanime. I’ve heard good things about ALA, so I’m SUPER excited, even if the venue isn’t that great. It’ll be nice to kick off my con-year early!
Wow, midnight snuck up on me a lot quicker than I expected! On the positive side of things, I made some progress tonight! It may not look like much, but it’s a big step in the right direction.

Oh Tumblr. I know I have neglected you. My brain has been preoccupied with things such as re-organizing, planning for future cons, and planning for moving. I have more to write, but not the time. For now, have a look at some of the first costumes I’m planning for 2012! (there will be more, this is only the beginning) What makes THESE costumes FOR SURES: I already own a large portion, or at least a significant piece, of the supplies for them.
Back from KumoriCon! Had a blast! More fun than I expected to have, really. It’s come a long way. I’m hoping next year I can get some of my out-of-state buddies to come up for it! Here’s a teaser pic, until I get the originals from Kayla.
The handful of Madoka cosplayers we met were all so nice. I hope we remembered to give everyone contact cards. I love this costume, but need to lose some weight before I wear it again.
