2. What was your latest cosplay, and when did you wear it? Pics?
I actually just shared some pics of my latest costume, but here’s another for good measure; my latest cosplay was Rue, Fire Festival version, from my favorite anime series, “Princess Tutu” — I made this costume for my epic trip to Germany this September, and debuted it at Connichi 2012 in Kassel, Germany! I had been planning to make this since August of 2011, and it was wonderful to finally see it come together.

I spent most of my evening dying fabric, for which there isn’t much to show. So instead, here, is the work I did on my wig tonight!
My Fabric I already have (upper left), my reference art, and the fabric I ordered online to replace my botched dye job.
Here’s hoping it all looks alright together when it arrives. :/
Rue Progress! It’s not much, but I finally got the bumroll to a size that I THINK does the job, without being intrusive… and now it’s filling in the gap with netting to soften the change in size. Corset is the same one I posted a while back. At least you can kind of see a SHAPE. Also, this is very encouraging to me that when I eventually make Garnet’s gown, I wouldn’t look TERRIBLE in a white strapless dress!
