C is for Cat Girl and The Cat Returns
Probably my favorite picture of this costume, just because I think it’s the one image where I feel like I’m looking at Haru, and not myself in a ton of makeup.  Haru was my second foray into the use of tanner/body makeup, and I covered my whole body in bronzer power.  While more successful and slightly more natural looking than the temporary tanner I used when I cosplayed as Noah for Fanime 2010, one down-side of the bronzer was that is rubbed off on all of my white things (like my socks and polo shirt).  The other was that, due to being a bronzer also gave me a metalic-shine that was very tricky to dull down.
I did this cosplay as for my dear Heather, who despite having been my friend since 2007, I had never PROPERLY cosplayed with at a convention.  While I don’t think I’ll ever wear Haru again (at least with the tanner… and I’m extremely unhappy with the wig in particular) it was a lot of fun, and I do like the pics that came out of it.
This particular photo was taken by Vince (Darkain) at Fanime 2011. … I DID have a tail too, but it seems to have hidden itself behind my leg for this shot.  Ah well.
